Programme director (Contract)

Location: Manchester Country: UK Rate: £800 - 1200 per day
 
Role Overview:
As the Programme Director, you will be instrumental in driving our organization through a comprehensive technology implementation initiative. This 12-month contract position offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the future of our company, overseeing the entire life cycle of the programme from inception to successful execution.

  • Willingness to work onsite at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the technology implementation programme, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration throughout all phases of the programme.
  • Establish clear project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, closely monitoring progress and mitigating risks as needed.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of programme delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and other key partners, ensuring alignment and communication at all levels.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Programme Director or similar leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale technology implementations.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with the ability to develop and execute complex project plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards a shared vision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in Programme Manager roles, demonstrating the ability to deliver programmes to a high level of quality and within specified timelines.
