Power BI Developer (Contract/Permanent)

Location: Warwick, Warwickshire Country: UK Rate: £300 per day
 

Job Title: Power BI Developer

Location: Warwick (hybrid)

Contract Details: 6 months (with a view to extend, or move to Perm)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our client's team to leverage Snowflake models and visualise data in Power BI for reporting requirements.
  • Utilise your expertise in the principles of Data Visualisation to showcase your understanding and create visually appealing reports.
  • Pay high attention to detail in order to ensure accurate and reliable data analysis and reporting.
  • Utilise your financial background and understanding of accountancy to work effectively with financial data.
  • Work on a large transformation programme within finance reporting, covering various projects and providing project resource support.
  • As part of the team, contribute to the development of semantic models, data extraction, and linkages to Power BI.
  • Play a crucial role in enhancing server capacity and optimising Back End knowledge for seamless data integration.

Our client, a leading utilities organisation, is seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join their team. As a Power BI Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within a large transformation programme. You will collaborate closely with a team of dedicated professionals and key stakeholders to leverage Snowflake models and visualise data in Power BI for reporting requirements. Your expertise in Data Visualisation and attention to detail will be crucial in creating visually appealing and insightful reports.

To be successful in this role, you should have a high level of proficiency in Power BI and Snowflake. Experience in working with financial data and an understanding of accountancy principles would be highly advantageous. Additionally, your strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset will enable you to effectively analyse and interpret complex data sets.

This is a 6-month contract position with a view to extend. The location is Warwick, with a hybrid working arrangement. Our client offers a competitive remuneration package starting at £300 per day, with the potential for negotiation based on skills and experience.
