Zen Desk Consultant (Contract)

Zendesk Consultant (JavaScript) - Fintech Company
PAYE Agency worker contract
Hybrid/London based up to 3 days per week

We are seeking an experienced Zendesk Consultant with strong JavaScript skills to join our innovative fintech company. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and optimizing our Zendesk instance to provide exceptional customer support experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Zendesk solutions
  • Develop custom Zendesk apps, integrations, and workflows using JavaScript and the Zendesk API
  • Implement advanced features such as custom reporting, triggers, automations, and macros
  • Optimize Zendesk performance, scalability, and security to meet the demands of our growing customer base
  • Train and support internal teams on the proper use and administration of Zendesk
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience working with Zendesk as a consultant or administrator
  • Proficient in JavaScript, with experience in Front End frameworks (eg, React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • Familiarity with Zendesk APIs, Zendesk App Framework (ZAF), and Zendesk developer tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Experience in the financial services or fintech industry is a plus
