Business Analyst (must speak French) (Contract)

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire Country: UK Rate: £341/day inside IR35
 

Business Analyst or Product Owner - must speak French - Farnborough/remote

Need Banking and Financial Services Consultancy experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients in the banking and financial services industry to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Analyse and assess client requirements, processes, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on banking and financial services domain knowledge, including retail banking, corporate banking, wealth management, and insurance.
  • Lead or participate in project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Define the delivery of features for a program of work by articulating user-stories, writing functional and non-functional requirements and executing a clear release with appropriate marketing, feedback tracking and follow up.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team and client capabilities.
  • Provide ongoing support and Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technologies to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.

Candidate requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a business analyst, product owner or equivalent role in understanding business requirements.
  • Experience working in the banking and financial services industry, with a strong understanding of industry trends, processes, and regulations.
  • Proven track record of success in delivering consulting or IT solutions for banking and financial services clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Well versed with JIRA or similar agile project management software creating stories, tracking story progress, etc.
