Senior Developer - Application Support

Overview:

We are seeking a talented Senior Developer with expertise in Java application support to join our team on a contractual basis. Our organization relies heavily on a business-critical Java application, and we require an experienced professional to ensure its seamless operation. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic environment for an initial 6-month period.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support for our business-critical Java application.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or bugs that may arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and enhancements.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Document processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Developer, with a focus on Java application support.
• In-depth knowledge of Java programming language and related frameworks (eg, Spring, Hibernate).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with .NET and Python is a plus, as other applications within our environment are built using these technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Contract Details:

Duration: Initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

National Hybrid so 2 days a week from local office.
