Graphic Designer (Contract)

Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: Market Rates - PAYE
 

Graphic Designer - JP Morgan - London - 4 months contract - onsite - PAYE

We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join JP Morgan's in-house design team based in London on an initial 4 months contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on end-to-end design projects, creating long-form print designs such as invitations, booklets, and cover designs. The successful candidate will have the chance to collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders, developing and executing integrated programs that align with the company's brand standards. This role offers the potential for contract extension and requires a portfolio to support your application preferably with access in PDF form.

What you'll do:

As a Graphic Designer at JP Morgan, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs that align with the company's brand standards. You will manage the entire creative process, from conceptualisation through to production and delivery. Your role will involve presenting creative solutions, interpreting feedback from various stakeholders, and ensuring project momentum. You will also be responsible for managing project schedules and vendor relationships. A key part of your role will be championing accessibility/ADA guidelines.

  • Design high-quality creative materials including advertising, brochures, sales aids, and event-related materials
  • Present creative solutions that meet brand standards and provide supporting rationale
  • Manage the creative process from concept through to production and delivery
  • Pitch ideas and design concepts in a group environment and interpret feedback from multiple stakeholders
  • Motivate internal and external stakeholders to ensure project momentum
  • Manage project schedules and vendor relationships
  • Champion accessibility/ADA guidelines

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Graphic Designer role at JP Morgan brings a wealth of corporate or agency design experience. You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated experience in Adobe After Effects. Your strong print production skills enable you to prepare printer-ready files efficiently. You are comfortable working on both PC and Mac operating platforms. Your excellent communication skills allow you to clearly articulate direction to internal teams. Your exceptional project management skills enable you to handle multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design or similar discipline required
  • Minimum of five years corporate or agency design experience
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe After Effects
  • Strong print production skills with ability to prepare printer-ready files
  • Proficiency working on both PC and Mac operating platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
