We are looking for a Test Manager to work within the Healthcare/Public sector
Location: Hybrid | Berkshire | occasional travel
About the role: We are seeking an experienced, high-calibre Test Manager to lead the testing efforts for the Trust Integration Engine. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the integration engine.
The ideal candidates will have a proven Test Management background with following skills & experience:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for the Trust Integration Engine
- Collaborate with suppliers, connected system owners, cross-functional teams, including developers, to understand requirements and ensure test coverage and adequacy
- Design and execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the integration engine
- Healthcare Project/Programme experience
- Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution
- Manage the testing process throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test management role
- Experience with testing web services
- Proficiency in creating and executing manual and automated test cases.
- Experience with test automation tools
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools
- ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus
- Experience in Healthcare and Life Sciences
- Experience with testing of HL7
