Robson Bale are looking for a French or Dutch speaking Test Engineer to come on board for an initial 6 month contract in Belgium
6 months, market rate
Candidates MUST speak French or Dutch for this role
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
- Identification, creation & maintenance of (manual) test cases - in collaboration with the development team such as Product Owners, Scrum Masters, analysts, developers, project leaders, Acceptance testers
- Identification, creation & maintenance of test scripts for the automation API calls
- Test execution during the development phase (system & system integration testing), including (non-) regression testing to assure the integrity of the current functionalities
- Document the test results & communicate with the team, in regards to the quality and progress of their developed project
- Makes sure the all test are realized in the applicable environment, time line management and progress monitoring - reporting
- Support developers on useful test on development test level and support acceptance testers during the acceptance test phase;
- Participation in the re-evaluation & approval of the deliverables of other testers in the team/tribe (cases, plans, automated tests, etc).
- Coach junior testers & analist who sometimes have to write cases. And establish a uniform way of working between the squads in the tribe.
- Analyse & report possible improvement of the development cycle for the applications avoiding problems during the production stage.
- Setup or finetune the test approach for your squad/application, according to the test strategy of the company
Technical profile requirements
- Expert knowledge of ReadyAPI (or alternative API test automation tool)
- Very good knowledge of webservices REST (+ ESB)
- Good knowledge of Java (Scripting TestComplete, jenkins scripts)
- Good knowledge of quality assurance testing: ISTQB, Selenium/RQM, or equivalent
- Expert knowledge of Testing Tools & methodologies
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- ISTQB Certificate is a plus
- Working knowledge of JMeter is a plus
- Working knowledge of JIRA tool is a plus
- Working knowledge of the healthcare/service/insurance environment is a plus
Non-Technical profile requirements
- 3-5y of Professional experience in testing
- Good Document Practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Result oriented & problem solver
- Structured/Organized
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Softskill to guide people during change process & sell testing
