Project Description and responsibilities:

We are vigilant on the way we are dealing with third parties in our business and want to be compliant with all applicable legislation in the security domain.

Umicore is looking for an expert in Security Risk Management with a focus on specific security areas: Physical and Transport security. Profound knowledge of global security concepts and all technical and organisational related measures. In depth knowledge of protecting precious metals during the whole life cycle for all countries where Umicore has an interest. Be the project manager for security related initiatives on multi-site level. Promote and support with specific knowledge the security community

Primary Tasks and responsibilities:
. 40% Physical Security - prevention - develop standards - assist and coordinate multi - site project - perform audits on Physical security - document technical implementation umicore wide
o Focus on the security of Precious metals, transport and warehouses
o Protecting Expats, VIP and all umicore personnel against kidnapping risks
. 25% Support the internal security community for the specific security domains of Physical security and security of P.M. - during sourcing, production warehouse and transport.
o Manage the security documentation: take the responsibility for developing and maintaining security policies, procedures and standards in the expert domain
o Take care and upload documentation and communication on dedicated connect pages for security;
o Organize exchange of best practices in the security expert domains of Physical security and P.M. security
o Organize in - an adequate format - workshops, seminars, info sessions on security related topics
o Actively promote and facilitate the working of the security community
o Provide training to the security ambassadors and use the train the trainer principle.
. 25% Project management on security topics
o Contribute in cross-functional improvement projects in related fields;
o Inspire, initiate and supervise security and integrity improvement projects.
. 10% Legal advice
o Advise and support the BU's and corporate functions on the evolution of legislation in the domains of security: physical security, security risk management and precious metals
o Make a comprehensive summary and inform Umicore people who need to know, depending on the subject and the region;
o Inform the security community on new legislation.

* 10% Perform daily supporting tasks

Technical Profile requirements:
. Master degree - preferably a technical background
. You have at least 5-year work experience in a relevant security related domain;
. Experience in a high tech industrial environment is a plus;
. Fluent in English, both written and spoken and a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French, German. Other language knowledge is a plus;
. Organizational security management;
. Risk management;
. Project management;
. Willing to travel abroad occasionally

Certifications:
. Information security - ISO 27000 certification in a plus
