Application Packager - Coventry - inside IR35 - £450 to £500 per day - hybrid working (minimum of 2 to 3 days on site per week, non-negotiable)
Brief overview:
As part of my customers modern workplace transformation roadmap, they have planned to migrate from Citrix VDI infrastructure to a market leading VDI solution which is more Secured, Scalable and Cost-effective. As part of this roadmap, they are also migrating applications from SCCM to Intune as part of a Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade.
They have a diverse range of application which include APPV4, APPV5, MSIX, IntuneWin32 and traditional MSI & EXE. They are looking for someone who has strong knowledge and experience in Application compatibility testing and migration from various OS and platforms.
Strong knowledge on the below is must:
- MSI application packaging, App-V Sequencing, MSIX packages, IntuneWin32 apps
- PowerShell Scripting, VB Scripting, PSADT
- Packaging tools like, InstallShield, Wise Packaging Studio, Advance Installer, APP-V, Orca etc
- Experience in migrating APPV application to MSIX and IntiuneWin32
- Knowledge and experience on how to handle, approach & troubleshoot a Windows application across various OS (Win 10 to Win 11) versions and across various virtual platforms (Citrix Cloud apps to MSIX or Intunewin32)
- Active Directory in relations with application group creation and managing the same
- SCCM application packaging, collections, and deployments creations
- Troubleshooting experience and knowledge on application packaging related challenges in corelation with compatibility testing, deployment and remediation
- Intune Win32 Application, AAD application Groups, Company portal deployment, application related challenges on Intune Autopilot devices.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is inside IR35 and requires candidates to be onsite in Coventry 2 to 3 days per week.
