Finance Business Analyst - Documentation, Insurance, Process Mapping

My client is a leading Insurance firm who urgently require a Finance Business Analyst with a high level of analysis and Documentation, Stakeholder Management and Process Mapping/Data Mining skills to play a key part within a major Programme of work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Financial processes/controls.

Key Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience as a Finance Business Analyst within a large, complex organisation
• Demonstrable experience of working on major Finance Transformation Programmes
• Excellent ability to carry out Gap analysis through effective use of data analysis and the production of metrics that measure the effectiveness of current processes
• Process Mapping/Data Mining skills
• Demonstrable experience of Designing, Documenting and Implementing Finance processes
• Strong Documentation skills and focus
• Expertise in preparing and delivering status reports
• Excellent command of Financial Control frameworks
• Good understanding of Fin Ops/Accounts Payable/Sanctions Assurance/Claims/Credit Control/IMS regulations/UK Consumer Reforms
• Previous experience of working in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional Stakeholder Management skills

Nice to have:

• Previous Insurance industry experience (or equivalent FCA Regulated industry)
• Experience of operating business controls. Accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA etc)
• Exposure to mining tools such as MEGA
• Working knowledge of Power Platform
• Immediate availability
