Technical Business Analyst (Day Rate Contract) (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £600-650 per day
 

Technical Business Analyst - 6 months+ (£650 per day)

Our client, a Global Technology organisation has an urgent requirement for a Technical Business Analyst to play a key role on an upcoming project, with a Multinational Financial Institution.

The Technical Business Analyst should have a strong background in Microsoft, technologies, particularly with Active Directory, Azure AD and Windows Server (Certification relevant to these areas would be most beneficial). They should also have a high-level understanding of and substantial experience with NAS infrastructure.

This role is initially offered on a 6-month contract basis with a strong possibility of extension beyond this timeframe. The role is Hybrid in nature, with the Technical BA generally required onsite in London 2 days per week which may occasionally be increased at key project junctures.

Responsibilities of Role

Assist in reorganisation of NAS folder structures and restructuring of AD group relationships.

Review the bank's folder / share naming convention, file server structures/permissions and group-based ACL structure.

Help develop strategy for mapping existing permissions to new group-based permissions.

Work with the Bank's internal team to simplify/optimize the current folder structure and outline any necessary changes to file server structure.

Coordinate and communicate with key Stakeholders on the validating and scheduling of changes required to implement new designs.

Essential Candidate Requirements

University level degree from a recognised institution in Computer Science, IT or other related area

Certification in Business Analysis or other area relevant to this role

Microsoft certification (MCSA, MCSD, and MCS ) or strong, verifiable experience working with these technologies

5+ Years experience as a Business Analyst - In some cases, significant experience with AD, NAS environments and other technologies relevant to this role may suffice for less time working solely as a Business Analyst

Ability to be onsite in London at very short notice.

Previous experience working in a similar role within the Banking and/or financial services sector.
