Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join their Automation Engineering Team. In this role, you will take technical responsibility for the design, development, integration, and configuration of automation components and infrastructures. You will lead development activities, drive system integrations, and build robust capabilities in automation and continuous integration. This position requires designing large and complex systems, conducting impact and risk analyses, and balancing functional and non-functional requirements. You will also ensure adherence to best practices, set technical policies, and provide expert advice on automation, systems integration, and service design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, amend, and refactor complex programs/scripts.
- Document work and apply version control.
- Plan and drive software construction activities.
- Enhance systems integration and build capabilities.
- Configure IT environments and manage test software platforms.
- Design large, complex systems considering all constraints and environments.
- Produce detailed design specifications and verify against requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in DevOps, systems integration, and automation.
- Strong programming and Scripting skills.
- Expertise in Azure and cloud infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to design complex systems and produce detailed specifications.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring team members.
