Role: Senior Project Manager
Contract: 3-6 months initial
Day rate: £500-£700 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Flexible - must be able to travel

We are working with a large-scale organisation within the financial services space, who are looking for a heavy hitting Project Manager, who has experience of IT Outsourcing projects. This is a role for a candidate who has a wealth of experience in turning around failing projects, is able to recover projects and has seasoned and proven experience of doing so. The client plan to outsource Testing, IT, Infrastructure, Development and Support to a 3rd party. You will be the 'go to' person in regards to all things relating to the project, and be able to be a strong character and resolve and deal with issues that come to the surface.

Skills and experience required:

• Seasoned/Senior level Project Manager
• Experience of managing outsourcing projects previously
• 3rd party supplier management experience
• Proven and demonstable experience of turning round failing projects
• Proven and demonstrable experience of picking up existing projects
• Prior experience of working in the financial services industry

This is a contract role for an initial 3-6 months, and will require the successful candidate to start ideally at short notice, please consider this when applying for the role.
