One of the fastest-growing E-commerce brands in the UK is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join their team. They have just moved into their swanky new office in Kent.

As a Senior PHP Developer, your experience and knowledge of PHP will contribute significantly to their web applications.

Responsibilities:

Analyse requirements with the team and design efficient and scalable solutions using PHP.

Develop and maintain web applications using the CakePHP framework.

Implement new features and functionality based on project specifications and user requirements.

Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to identify and resolve issues

Requirements:

Strong understanding and practical experience with the CakePHP framework (or equivalent ie Laravel)

Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following coding standards and best practices.

Hands-on experience with databases, particularly MySQL.

Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.

Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git) and collaborative development workflows.
