Apigee Tech Lead - 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 - London (Hybrid)

Hamilton Barnes is representing a leading British multinational retailer company who are looking to hire an Apigee Lead Engineer, for this position you will be responsible for setting up the CI/CD pipelines and enabling the path for the platform version from Apigee Edge to Apigee -X.

Join our client's team as an Apigee Engineer on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing Apigee architecture, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and facilitating the transition from Apigee Edge to Apigee X. You will collaborate closely with customer architects and network/cloud engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Apigee architecture in alignment with customer architects and network/cloud engineers.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for Apigee Proxy deployments and testing.
• Develop Proxy flows, templates, and implement security measures. Automate processes such as Proxy migration and importing OAS docs.
• Customize and configure the developer portal as per project requirements.
• Configure Analytics and Monitoring capabilities of Apigee to ensure efficient performance monitoring and analysis.

Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in Apigee Edge and Apigee X platforms.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and integration.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and implementation.
• Familiarity with design frameworks for creating scalable and resilient architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Location: London - 2 Days onsite
• Day Rate: Up to £575-600 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
