Senior Test Analyst - 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35

As a Senior Performance Test Consultant, you should have excellent non-functional testing skills as well as development knowledge. You will have exposure to performance engineering and a great understanding of software architecture and must be able to apply your knowledge of tools/techniques to support all stages of the performance testing life cycle.
You must be tool/language agnostic and be able to identify the best approach and tooling/language for the job. You will be someone who is able to communicate test plans and results to senior stakeholders within the business.

Key Skills

• Defining and creating performance test frameworks, plans, and approaches
• Working closely with stakeholders on performance projects
• Creating and executing performance and load tests on complex projects, using the most appropriate tool and approach
• Analysing and investigating performance test results and understanding metrics gathered with a view to ensuring application performance and availability are optimal.
• Writing and delivering test execution reports and closure reports
• Understanding of system architecture in an event driven platform and Azure services
• Proven ability to overcome challenges.

Essential Experience

• Used performance test tooling such as JMeter (The key is to be adaptable to the situation/tool/technology)
• Development languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python
  Root cause analysis
• Integration of testing within Azure development pipelines
• Experience with Azure Cloud technology.
• Working in Agile teams

Desirable Experience

• Functional test automation experience using Java.
• Experience with Selenium test automation/Cucumber/Gherkin/Maven
