NHS Test Manager - Trust Integration Engine - Remote Working (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £400.00 - £600.00 per day
 

Job Title: Test Manager - Trust Integration Engine - Paying up to £600 per day OUTSIDE of IR35

Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking a talented Test Manager to join their team and contribute to the success of their Trust Integration Engine project. If you are ready for an exciting opportunity to lead the testing efforts and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the integration engine, then this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for the Trust Integration Engine.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, connected system owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Design and execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and security.
  • Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Manage the testing process throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Monitor and report on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments.
  • Continuously improve the testing process by implementing best practises and tools.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test management role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
  • Experience with testing web services.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing manual and automated test cases.
  • Experience with test automation tools.
  • Knowledge of defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Healthcare and Life Sciences is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with testing of HL7 messages is also desirable but not essential.
