Migration Architect (Contract/Permanent)

We are seeking a highly skilled Migration Specialist with experience in Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software and banking systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the migration process, ensuring seamless transition from Legacy systems to modern platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of banking operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute migration strategies for transitioning banking systems to COTS solutions.
  • Lead technical aspects including data migration, system integration, and application deployment.
  • Customize and configure COTS software to meet banking requirements.
  • Develop and execute testing plans, ensuring reliability and functionality.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff.

Migration Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop migration plans and strategies for transitioning banking systems from Legacy platforms to COTS solutions.
  • Assess risks and dependencies associated with migration and develop mitigation strategies.

Technical Expertise:

  • Lead the technical aspects of the migration process, including data migration, system integration, and application deployment.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compatibility and interoperability between different systems.

COTS Implementation:

  • Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement COTS solutions tailored to the organization's banking needs.
  • Customize and configure COTS software to meet specific requirements, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
