As a RAD (Rapid Application Development) Developer for our clients esteemed investment bank's trading desk, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency within their Fixed Income trading operations. Leveraging your expertise in Excel and Python programming, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge solutions that enhance the trader's ability to analyze, manage risk, and execute trades seamlessly. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our trading desk, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the financial market.

Key Responsibilities:

Python Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Excel-based spreadsheets and Python applications tailored to the specific needs of the trading desk.

  • Implement automated processes to streamline trading activities and enhance desk productivity.

Trading Desk Support:

  • Collaborate closely with traders to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions that address their unique challenges.

  • Offer ongoing support to the trading desk, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing existing tools to align with evolving market demands.

Required Skills:

Strong programming skills in Python, with a focus on financial applications.

In-depth knowledge of trading desk operations and Fixed Income products.

Familiarity with risk management principles and methodologies.

Ability to collaborate effectively with traders and other stakeholders.

Prior experience in RAD development within the financial industry is a plus.
