We are looking for a Network Specialist to join our existing dynamic Solution Build Practice. They will work closely with the Solution Owner and Architects to assist with the instantiating of design documentation, on a wide variety of network solutions, which vary in size and complexity. Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals you will be driven to find better, faster, more effective solutions. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to grow and build upon your existing knowledge and ability.

Your role

The Network Specialist will be part of the Delivery Team and will liaise with the current SMEs for Networking, Infrastructure, Applications and Security as required. They will have a wealth of experience on larger or more complex solutions, demonstrating an understanding of the customers' business and commercial issues. They identify, design and deliver larger or complex solutions to meet challenging requirements you will be responsible for assisting the Solution Architects with the design and communication of structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.

Experience Required:

Network design (high and low level)

Configuring network devices

Previous experience Cisco routing and switching devices

Demonstrable understanding of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols.

Demonstrable understanding of NAT, GRE Tunnelling protocol, DMVPN Tunnelling Protocol, Subnetting & Supernetting.

Previous troubleshooting and support experience.

Previous experience in a Level 4 support role

Network operation in an offline environment

Desirable

Previous experience with Juniper SRX or Fortinet FortiGate

Previous experience with Cisco ASA and McAfee MFE appliances

Previous experience with some of the following Cisco appliances:

Cisco routing 1800,1900,2900,3900 and 4300 series.
