Job Description:
We are urgently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager Contractor to join our client, a boutique InsureTech consultancy based in London. This role requires someone with expertise in managing IT projects within the London markets, particularly in stakeholder management and CAT (Catastrophe) modelling implementation. The project will be an implementation from a Legacy pricing tool to a newer one.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage IT projects throughout the entire project life cycle, from initiation to closure.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to these parameters.
  • Coordinate project resources, including internal team members and external vendors.
  • Monitor project progress and identify any risks or issues that may impact delivery.
  • Implement CAT modelling solutions according to client specifications.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within consultancy or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of the London markets and experience working in this environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and building strong client relationships.
  • Experience with CAT (Catastrophe) modelling implementation is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is desirable.
