SAS Programmer/Developer (Contract)

SAS Programmer/Developer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for an SAS Programmer/Developer.

This role will be Inside of IR35, so you will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company.

Key Requirements:

- Work as a senior SAS Programmer/Developer/Engineer for the Research and Development IT team for a large pharmaceutical organization touching upon large population across the globe.
- Development of new code or maintenance of existing code used in Clinical Systems or their interfaces.
- Documentation.
- User requirements.
- Functional specifications.
- Testing scripts.
- Validation.
- Unit testing.
- Troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyse problems.
- Communication with end-users until resolution.

Key Experience:

- Knowledge of SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and SQL is necessary, PL/SQL, Java, Web interfaces, oracle databases are an asset.
- Knowledge of validation methodology.
- Experience in a clinical environment is an asset.
- Work with users providing advice on the best practice for the creation of analytics processes, programs, or models to best utilize the SAS environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
