Business Analyst - £450/day Inside IR35 - 6-month Contract - Worcester - 3 days Onsite (SCC FLEX CONTRACT)

We seek a highly skilled Business Analyst with substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions within the housing association sector to facilitate a smooth and successful merger/acquisition process. Your expertise will guide the organization through critical phases, ensuring strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.

Your responsibilities as the Business Analyst:

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of current business operations, financials, and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, ensuring they align with merger/acquisition goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables for the Merger and Acquisition process.
• Perform due diligence, including risk assessment, financial analysis, and legal compliance checks.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the M&A process.
• Support post-merger integration activities, ensuring continuity and operational effectiveness.

For you to succeed in the Business Analyst role, you should have:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, particularly within the housing association sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
• Proficient in business analysis tools and software.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the housing sector.
• Professional certification in Business Analysis (eg, CBAP) or Project Management (eg, PMP).
• Knowledge of housing association operations and strategic challenges.
