Construction Project Manager-NEC/RIBA-Estates Security-London

A Construction Project Manager is required by our services client based in London for an initial 6 month contract. The role is offering 510 per day outside IR35.

You will be required to be on site 2-3 days per week. You can be based either in London (Westminster) or near Milton Keynes. The role will also require client site visits once per month.

This role is working on a classified programme (RAF) related to an estates projects - specifically a secure building. Therefore, the role is working in a DV Security Cleared environment. A minimum of DV clearance is required for this role. Therefore, you will need to hold current, active DV Clearance.

The Role:

As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of customer projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget and to the agreed scope quality standards, across the organisation's wide range of Estates and Security services. You will also be required to assist with and lead the production of bids for new work opportunities.

Skills and Experience Required:

- PRINCE2 Practitioner, APMP, ISEB Certificate or Equivalent Project Management qualifications.

- Demonstrable significant experience of planning, monitoring and controlling projects using PRINCE2, APM or other PM related methodologies.

- Experience project managing through the RIBA stages.

- Extensive experience in planning and delivering medium complexity, multi-skilled construction projects with values ranging up to 5M.

- Experience of working on secure building construction programmes would be beneficial.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including the latest versions of Microsoft Project.

- Demonstrable ability and experience in the procurement and management of construction contracts (NEC3/4 or equivalent)

- Experience of CDM 2015 regulations and associated documentation from the supplier perspective.

- A skilled and experienced Project manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple simultaneous projects within agreed timescales and budgets

- Effective management of project finances, project risks and issues and project scope change.

- Knowledge of global logistics processes, risks and issues (desirable)

- Accreditation in the Management of Risk (MoR) and its application in a project management environment. (desirable)

- Experience of using Microsoft Project On Line (desirable)
