Our client are a top tier consulting firm looking for a Delivery Manager on a 6 months contract/

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of digital projects, ensuring alignment with GDS standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, security standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management and clients.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting continuous improvement and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager, ideally within the government sector.
• Active Security Clearance (SC) is essential for this role.
• Strong understanding of Government Digital Service (GDS) principles and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering them successfully.
• Solid understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and manage expectations effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certification in project management (eg, PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable but not essential.
