Software Developer is required to join an IT consultancy who specialise in delivering high-quality and innovative business solutions. They work with the largest global partners to provide flexible, scalable, and agile teams that help businesses achieve powerful results.
This is an initial 6-month contract, paying £400-500 outside of IR35, with hybrid working (2 days a week on-site).
Main responsibilities:- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using C# .NET.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
- Utilize Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse API to build scalable and efficient applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
- Follow best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in Agile development processes using Azure DevOps for project management and version control.
- Involvement in Xamarin/.NET MAUI development, leveraging mobile development expertise.
- Utilize SQL for database management and manipulation, as needed.
- Utilize JavaScript for Front End development tasks, as necessary.
- Utilize Postman for API testing and debugging.
Experience required:- 3+ years experience in C# .NET development.
- Proficiency in the latest version of .NET (8).
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse API.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for development and project management.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL for database management and manipulation.
- Familiarity with JavaScript for Front End development tasks.
- Experience using Postman for API testing.
Desirable experience includes:
- Xamarin/.NET MAUI for mobile development.
- Power BI for data visualization.
- Umbraco is beneficial for certain projects.
- Experience working with GeoSpatial data.
