They are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering with a strong background in C#/.NET technologies to lead their dynamic engineering team. As a pivotal member of their leadership team, you will drive the scaling of their engineering capabilities while collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the expansion and development of the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership in shipping new features, optimizing maintenance processes, and enhancing the existing architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with business objectives and drive product innovation.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the engineering team, including scoping, scheduling, and delivery of sprints, as well as performance management and team development.
• Drive the adoption of best practices, methodologies, and technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability of their products and services.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a technology management role, preferably within a startup environment.
• Extensive experience with C#/.NET development and a strong understanding of fintech industry trends and emerging markets.
• Track record of successfully scaling engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies, cloud-based serverless applications (ideally Azure), and SaaS platform development.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor engineering teams to achieve excellence.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and making a positive impact in underserved communities.
