The Role
The Engineering team builds innovative features and resilient systems for Tinder®. We experiment with new features to engage members, and as a high-scale tech company we deliver huge impact. An Android engineer at Tinder® will own the most visible parts of the app, improving architecture, advancing emerging tech, and leveraging new tools to deliver widely known experience.
Where you'll work
This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in-office. Offices are in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, or San Francisco.
In this role, you will
- Contribute to the architecture, design and implementation of consumer-facing features in the Android App using latest tech
- Build new compelling in-app experiences for millions of users worldwide
- Coordinate with product & design teams to influence roadmap and product development
- Create & maintain shared frameworks and libraries
- Shape data analytics for optimized analytics with innovative data tools for analysts and data scientists teams
- Evolve architecture for multi-auth flows and account management
- Mentor, collaborate and learn with talented team members
You'll need
- 3+ years professional experience building native Android apps
- Significant experience building apps in Kotlin
- Strong software architectural experience
- Well-dented design patterns (MVP, Clean-MVVM)
- Experience at top-level. ?
