The Production team within Digital Marketing is a multi-disciplinary team with a focus on planning, content strategy, copywriting, design, discoverability, and technology. Our mission is to deliver the best digital experiences.To that end, our priorities include: Driving digital transformation in the areas of UX and operations through technology, data, process and leadership.

Lead the creative, content strategy and technology efforts of our digital experiences. Discoverability and search engine optimizations. On-device creative and content for Switch News and Nintendo eShop merchandising.

Delivering One Nintendo to our customers.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Responsible for the quality of the underlying code for Nintendo's eCommerce and marketing web platforms. Mentor and provide guidance to other developers about modern technologies, methodologies and processes.

Provide technical direction and code reviews to other developers and functional groups on the team. Set coding standards and documents guidelines and best practices for other developers to follow. Proactively recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions to those deficiencies.

Plan and implement model data structures for scalability. Write secure code and architect applications. Participates in all phases of the development life cycle, focusing on coding, testing, and debugging.

Works on the maintenance or enhancement of existing data structures Researches, evaluates, and analyzes technical and design requirements. Prepares and presents guidelines regarding content, security, features, standards, and creative new approaches for the use of technology. Participates in cross functional discussions and effectively communicate information, both written and verbally to members of the development teams Maintains up-to-date knowledge of related tools, trends and developments.

Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Documents all technology changes through appropriate change control. Provides support and troubleshooting of prior developed technology solution.

Acts as subject matter expert in front-end development, back-end development, and infrastructure.QualificationsSUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS: Minimum eight years' experience architecting and building scalable and high-volume full-stack web applications required. Expert in writing GraphQL and/or REST-based microservices Expert in Node.

js and ES6+ JavaScript Proficient in building sing page applications using technologies such as Next.js or Gatsby Proficient in JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular Proficient in cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform with a solid understanding of serverless technology and CDNs Experience with NoSQL and/or SQL databases Experience with headless content management systems such as Contentful, Sanity, or Prismic. Experience leading and mentoring other developers across a broader range of skills.

Knowledge in building accessible (WCAG 2.0) applications. Experience building native mobile applications is a huge plus. Ability to identify and quickly fix browser and desktop/mobile compatibility issues.

Familiar with integrated development environments such as Visual Studio and version control systems such as Git Excellent technical troubleshooting skills Excellent time management and teamwork skills Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes. Thorough attention to detail Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field with equivalent relevant experience.This position is HYBRID in Redmond, WA.

Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time. This position includes a base salary range of $124,326 - $186,488 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus up to 50%, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
