Position summary

Sikich is seeking a Managing Consultant for the IT Solutions and Cybersecurity team to plan, monitor, and manage a high volume of projects for the consulting teams.

Responsibilities

• Define client needs, architect network solutions, demonstrate capacity to deliver and communicate solutions, and provide QA before client release.
• Act as a technical supervisor within the Sikich Technology Division, managing a geographic or functional team.
• Work with Modern Workplace, O365 and Azure daily.
• Balance workloads of team members.
• Conduct Annual Reviews for Senior Consultants and Associate Consultants.
• Perform discovery/diagnostic phases of technical projects and review project documentation.
• Build client relationships and provide advanced technical support for complex issues.
• Act as a project lead for complex network infrastructure projects.
• Evaluate and recommend new systems and tools.
• Become proficient in the overall functionality of all Microsoft products.
• Manage time against assigned budgets, keep projects on schedule, overcome delays, and ensure billable hours are logged accurately.
• Mentor Senior Network Consultants and Associate Network Consultants on projects.
• Increase technical skills beyond basic/core needs and obtain latest Microsoft Certifications.
• Achieve billable-hour goals as dictated by team senior management.
• Develop understanding of business and information technology processes.

Qualifications

• Background and expertise in Network Engineering and Consulting.
• Expertise in Azure, O365 and Modern Workplace; Microsoft Teams is a plus.
• 10+ years of network consulting experience; applicable college background and industry training.
• Ownership of at least two customer relationships.
• Four-year college degree or commensurate industry experience.
• Major certifications in area of expertise (eg, MCITP, MCSE, CCNP, CISSP).
• Experience at the Senior Consultant level or ability to step into that role when needed.
