Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

This position will support Corporate Trust Services (CTS) business and technology projects. CTS Business Solutions is seeking an experienced and passionate Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems and/or new or re-engineered processes.

This position is within Corporate Trust Services (CTS), a division of Commercial Capital.

Primary responsibilities include:
Understanding problems, goals, opportunities, business needs, analysing the impact of change, and recommending potential solutions.
Leading cross-functional meetings to elicit requirements from subject matter experts to determine potential conflicts/other requirements that may exist in other areas.
Specifying, analysing, synthesizing business, stakeholder, functional, and non-functional requirements into Business Requirement Document, Use Cases, and/or User Stories.
Creating User Acceptance Test Strategy/Plan, leading development of Test Scripts/Cases, coordinating the execution of the User Acceptance Testing effort.
Performing analysis, building business case, deriving & evaluating cost benefit and ROI projections.
Utilizes best practice processes around work assignments, project management, and quality of output while maximizing overall team performance.
Discovering, documenting, and creating current & future state process flows utilizing Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

  • Advanced Microsoft Project skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications

Strong understanding around business process modelling, requirements gathering, formal documentation process (Waterfall and Agile), test script writing, user acceptance testing, and coordination of testing efforts.

Demonstrated ability to facilitate, elicit and document detailed business requirements either in large group settings or via conference calls.

Ability to work effectively in virtual environments where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations.

Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines amid shifting priorities.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to develop and promote creative alternatives as a way to solve for business requirements.

Ability to work and influence successfully within a Matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

Proven experience managing or participating in large-scale projects.

Financial industry background/experience.
