This important position is responsible for effectively maintaining and developing the loan origination software system and associated software in adherence with RLSA procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • LOS Support:
    • Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support.
    • Assist in troubleshooting third-parity interface issues.
  • LOS Maintenance:
    • Password and identity management.
    • Enforce the policies for the use of the LOS system.
    • Ensure that third-party interfaces are working properly.
    • Validate installation of version updates to the OS and interface software in adherence with RLSA change management procedures.
    • Document change.
  • LOS Database Management:
    • Assist in addressing data integrity issues when determined appropriate by RLSA Manager.
  • LOS Analysis/Development:
    • Perform system modifications within Encompass related to enhancement requests in adherence with RLSA change management procedures.
    • Review, analyze, and modify systems which include coding, testing, debugging and installing as required and in adherence with RLSA change management procedures.
    • Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed to meet changing user requirements.
    • Make recommendations on custom applications that interface with the LOS.
    • Provide assistance and advice in the effective use of existing applications.
    • Write technical procedures and documentation for FFL customizations to existing applications.
    • Research and provide vendor's technical documentation for new and existing applications.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes.
  • Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise:

  1. Experience in mortgage lending is required.
  2. Experience in training tools and methods are required.
  3. Experience with lending laws, regulations, and guidelines are required.
  4. Experience in finance or banking industry is preferred.
  5. Experience in IT system administration is preferred.
  6. Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes is preferred.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, Project] or similar software is required. ElleMae, Encompass360 Banker, Cleartouch, OnBase, various government and investor software/web portals, WebEx, Adobe, Visual Basic, JavaScript and HTML are preferred.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Years of experience:
    • 1 year in systems support related role focused on process workflow development is required.
    • 1 year in residential lending is preferred.
  • Experience with lending regulations and guidelines preferred.
  • Years of experience supervising: None

Physical Experience:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, walk, stand, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, use hands, and see, hear and speak.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • This position is performed in an office setting, five days a week with typical work hours being 8.30a through 5.15p.
  • This position may require availability outside of normal business hours on an as needed basis
