As a senior member of the leadership team, this person will demonstrate the ability to develop and grow both their clients and team. Success will require focus on business development and client relationships, while overseeing the team's daily/weekly execution of paid media campaigns. Additional responsibilities to the broader company will include participating in new business pitches, delivering company-wide training sessions, and reinforcing the company culture on a daily basis.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Client retention and growth through fundamentals and relationships. Ensure agency is valued as an indispensable business partner across all levels of our client's organizations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue agency growth opportunities with both current and prospective clients.
  • Establish strategic client goals by gathering pertinent business information over and above the role of paid digital media.
  • Maintain relationships with key technology and vendor platforms, which includes bringing best practices and training to the agency, as well as recommending changes to these relationships when needed.
  • Ensure all team members have transparency regarding development needs to succeed in current role and to attain the next level promotion. This should be accomplished through formal reviews and consistent 1:1's.
  • Provide leadership with goals and recommendations for long-term planning of your clients and team. This will come in the form of business forecasts, account plans and team development plans.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience planning and executing large scale performance marketing campaigns is required.
  • Demonstrate refined understanding of how marketing, creative, planning, media, technology, and analytics integrate and play a role in a successful digital marketing strategy.
  • Experience planning and executing large, complex paid digital media campaigns across full spectrum of the funnel.
  • Experience developing and maintaining long-term relationships at the most senior level of client organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams at multiple levels, individual contributors and managers, and to successfully manage talent along the path to promotion.
